Review: John Frieda Collection Root Awakening Leave in Conditioner

Now, this might look like a leave in conditioner spray.. and it is, but it's also more than that - for me these sorts of products are the difference between misery and woe and happy smiles.

There's a lot of long hair in our household. I have hair well past my shoulders but there's several others here who have much longer hair than me. We also have regular visitors who are very small people with very long hair. A rambunctious, adventurous four year old can get a lot of knots in her hair, and when her hair is past her waist, well.. you can imagine. Even with the best intentions and plaited up hair it still gets pretty tangled - so detangling sprays are an absolute must.

This is a good one - it's got eucalyptus and peppermint in it amongst other things (but it doesn't smell strongly of either of these things). It seems a little goes a long way, you just spray a bit of this in and the job of brushing hair becomes a lot more easy and pleasant for all involved. It also doesn't seem to weigh the hair down, nor does it seem to make the hair greasy or oily, as some overly rich products can do for me. All in all I'm really pleased with how this works.

What about you? Do you have long hair?
